Beta Program Addendum
Effective Date: Feb. 20, 2026
This Beta Program Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements the Pocket OS Master Software License & Use Agreement (“Master Agreement”). In the event of conflict between this Addendum and the Master Agreement, this Addendum controls with respect to Beta Software.
Definition of Beta Software
“Beta Software” means any Software designated by Pocket Office as beta, early access, experimental, preview, pilot, limited release, or similar pre-production version. Beta Software may include incomplete features, unstable functionality, or limited documentation.
Experimental Nature
You acknowledge that:
Beta Software is under active development.
Features may change without notice.
Functionality may be modified, limited, or removed.
Beta Software may contain errors, bugs, or interruptions.
Beta Software may be discontinued at any time.
Pocket Office makes no guarantees regarding performance, availability, or feature continuity of Beta Software.
No Reliance
Beta Software is not intended for mission-critical reliance.
You agree not to rely on Beta Software for:
Critical business operations
Regulated compliance workflows
Legal recordkeeping
Financial reporting
Life-safety applications
Use of Beta Software is at your own discretion and risk.
Limited Support
Support during beta may be limited or informal. Response times are not guaranteed. Pocket Office may prioritize development decisions based on overall product direction rather than individual beta feedback.
Data During Beta
While the Master Agreement governs data generally, you acknowledge that:
Data handling practices may evolve during beta.
Certain logs may be temporarily retained for debugging and improvement.
Beta Software may have higher operational risk than production releases.
Users remain responsible for backing up any data they consider important.
Feedback License
By participating in the Beta Program, you grant Pocket Office a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use feedback, suggestions, improvement ideas, and usage observations for product development. Attributed testimonials require explicit written consent.
Free or Discounted Access
Pocket Office may provide Beta Software:
Free of charge
At discounted pricing
With temporary promotional access
Pocket Office may modify pricing or introduce paid tiers after beta concludes. Participation in beta does not guarantee continued free access after general release.
Early Termination
Pocket Office may terminate beta access at its sole discretion. You may discontinue participation at any time.
Upon termination:
Access may be revoked immediately
Data deletion will follow the Master Agreement
No Additional Liability
All warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in the Master Agreement apply fully to Beta Software. Beta Software may carry greater risk of interruption or malfunction.
Transition to General Release
Upon general release of Beta Software:
This Addendum will no longer apply
The Master Agreement will govern continued use
New pricing terms may apply
