A Small Introduction
Our story is much like yours. We all started out as technicians, just doing the work(programmers turned virtual assistants). And then one day we realized that we could things a little bit better, we could provide a better quality product. Have you been there?
Of course things failed initially, because doing the technical work alone doesn't make a business successful. So a migration and a marriage later, Pocket Office LLC got its wings again in April 2024 and is now soaring into one year of business growth. (We'll have to change this in a few months of course 😊).
But we have learned and lived knowledge of what failure and success in business looks like.
We've always been committed to the work needed to be done by a business, but more than ever we're resolved and committed to the work that needs to be done on a business. Strategizing and execution is where wins and losses live and we're excited to help you get on the correct side of winning in your small business.

Our Unusual Model
Yes that's correct! Our goal is to make ourselves obsolete. Why? Well we feel it's dishonest and actually parasitic to keep a business stuck in a subscription model to us simply to keep making income from them.
We want to support small businesses and watch them grow. And in order for them to grow and blossom and maybe even franchise, they need the correct systems and operations in place. Not weak operations, strong robust operations that can keep working well without the founders input. We help businesses get their accountabilities and operations down.
Our ultimate goal is to provide them with training resources and documentation, which means that at some point anyone can walk in and be hired to fill the roles that are needed.
And just like that we're obsolete! But, we're also happy, because it means what we did our job well. This is the true litmus test for us, obsoletion.
It proves that we've played our role in helping you build an operational business model.

The Birth of Pocket Office
Our founder grew up in a family that deeply loved technology. Computers were being built, systems were being discussed, and problem-solving was part of everyday life. But he personally gravitated toward the arts. He enjoyed creating things, working with his hands, and bringing ideas into the world in visual ways.
He was also an only child, and back home in the Caribbean there is a running joke that only children are spoiled. He never fully agreed with that idea, but he did come to recognize an important truth. When you're an only child, whether you want to or not, you grow up in a reality where, to a certain extent, the world revolves around you.
Ironically, many startups face a similar realization. We believe deeply in what we are building, but we sometimes assume the world already knows we exist. The truth is, visibility has to be earned, and clarity has to be built.
That realization did not happen all at once. It showed up slowly, over years of building things, solving problems, and watching businesses struggle in ways that had nothing to do with talent or effort.
After spending time in programming, construction, and project management, one pattern kept repeating itself. Good people with good ideas were working incredibly hard, yet still felt stuck. Not because they lacked skill, and not because they lacked dedication, but because they lacked clarity about what was actually working in their business.
Some were marketing constantly but could not tell where their next customer was coming from. Others were delivering great service but did not have a clear path for growth. Many were simply guessing, hoping that effort alone would eventually turn into momentum.
That is when the mission behind Pocket Office started to take shape.
The goal was never just to build software, set up automations, or connect tools. The goal was to help business owners understand their own business, to see clearly where attention was coming from, where opportunities were being missed, and where growth could happen without chaos.
Because once visibility becomes clear, decisions become easier.
Once decisions become easier, confidence grows.
And once confidence grows, businesses begin to move forward with intention instead of uncertainty.
Today, that same philosophy still guides everything we do at Pocket Office. We help business owners measure their visibility, understand their numbers, and build systems that support the life and business they are trying to create.
