Password Policy
Welcome to Pocket Office LLC. By using or purchasing our services, and engaging in the activity of sharing passwords, passphrases, or login credentials ("Credentials") with Pocket Office LLC, you agree to the terms outlined in this Password Policy Agreement (the "Agreement"). This Agreement is designed to protect both our clients and Pocket Office LLC by establishing a secure framework for handling Credentials during the course of our professional engagement.
Purpose
This Agreement serves to clarify the responsibilities of both Pocket Office LLC ("Company") and our clients ("Clients") regarding the secure sharing, use, and storage of Credentials. By engaging in our services, you accept these terms as binding.
Client responsibilities
To help ensure security, Clients agree to:
Use Secure Sharing Methods:
Share Credentials exclusively through secure tools provided or recommended by Pocket Office LLC (e.g., LastPass, 1Password, or equivalent platforms).
Avoid sharing Credentials via email, text message, or other unsecured methods.
Follow Best Practices for Password Creation:
Use strong, unique passwords with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
Regularly update passwords and notify Pocket Office LLC of any changes.
Refrain from sharing master account passwords unless explicitly necessary.
Maintain Confidentiality:
Limit access to Credentials to authorized personnel only.
Report any potential compromise of Credentials to Pocket Office LLC immediately.
Our responsibilities
Pocket Office LLC commits to:
Maintaining Secure Storage:
Store all Credentials in an encrypted environment using industry best practices.
Limit access to Credentials to authorized Pocket Office LLC personnel as necessary.
Using Credentials Exclusively for Agreed Services:
Use provided Credentials solely for the purposes of delivering the agreed-upon services.
Notifying Clients of Security Incidents:
Promptly notify Clients of any suspected or confirmed security breaches involving their Credentials.
Remove stored passwords at the end of our engagement.
Limitation of liability
Pocket Office LLC employs reasonable measures to ensure the security of Credentials but shall not be held liable for damages resulting from:
The Client’s failure to follow best practices outlined in this Agreement.
Unauthorized access or breaches caused by third-party platforms, systems, or services.
Security incidents arising from the Client’s negligent handling or sharing of Credentials.
Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pocket Office LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their failure to comply with this Agreement.
Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. By engaging in our services, Clients consent to this jurisdiction.
Acknowledgement
By using our services, purchasing our services, or sharing Credentials with Pocket Office LLC, Clients acknowledge their understanding of and agreement to the terms of this Password Policy Agreement.
